Townsend Timber is an established shed manufacturer of over 30 years providing robust and durable garden buildings.  In-house teams make heavy duty workshops and garden sheds using proven sectional building construction techniques.  Furthermore, these buildings have faced the force of the British winter, being tried and tested in our hill top display yard!

In-house carpenters create the sheds, using quality materials and long lasting pressure treated European softwood timbers with a planed finish and strong framework.  Most noteworthy, Townsend uses vertical extra thick 19 mm Tongue & Groove Board for:

• Cladding,
• heavy duty floors, and
• super strong roof panels.

As a result these buildings are “proper garden buildings”.

Townsend offers two ranges, both with Pent and Apex roof:

STOUR STANDARD SHEDS

Townsend makes the smaller Stour Standard Range from a smaller framework with buildings available in sizes up to 3.0 m x 2.4 m.  Furthermore, Townsend Timber offers the range as flat pack delivered or delivered & assembled.

• Vertical cladding and tongue & groove boarding.
• Tongue & groove boarded roof, overlaid with quality mineral felt and fascia trims.
• Single ledged & braced door with padlockable bolt.
• Fixed glass windows.
• Breathable Membrane Lined walls.

Townsend Timber designed the Standard Range Tool Store for the smaller garden requiring storage.  The tool store comes in three sizes (1.5 x 0.75 m, 1.8 x 0.9 m or 1.8 x 1.05 m) and stands 1.5 m at the front rising to 1.65 m at the back.  Fitted with padlockable double doors on the front panel, this garden store houses bikes and garden toys with ease.  In conclusion, a solid lockable store or small workplace!

Townsend has combined strength, design and best quality materials to ensure that the Superior Workshop range is the best yet.

Townsend Timber manufactures heavy duty garden sheds and workshops in common sizes but also as bespoke builds for those larger workshop requirements.  With every building made to order, Townsend’s full made-to-measure service is a speciality.  All Superior Range Workshop Buildings are priced to include delivery and installation within 20 miles of our yard.

Constructed on the same principles as above, the Superior Range is more flexible offering optional extras in addition to the basic:

• Double or stable doors.
• Opening windows.
• MDF or Tongue & Groove linings with insulation.
• Shelving and workbenches.
• Guttering for the easy gathering of rainwater.
• Internal partitions giving secure storage.

The Superior Workshop range not only suits workshop use, but also storage and home office use.  Made to measure with heavy duty construction these buildings are ideal for any demanding customer.

The new Superior Range frame design allows the placement of windows and doors to meet your site’s needs.  Windows will open and are glazed with float glass with two being the basic specification per building.  Doors are framed, ledged & braced with a key-lock and hardwood threshold for durability.  While one single door per building is basic specification, Townsend offers the ability to add singles or an extra to make a pair.

Your shed or workshop will be erected by the Townsend Timber assembly team, not subcontractors.  Townsend Timber offer a full turnkey service including planning permission applications for larger builds if required.

BASE PREPARATION
