Timber greenhouses & conservatories

Townsend’s in-house carpenters make by hand greenhouses and conservatories using the finest materials in addition to modern manufacturing methods.

GREENHOUSES 

Because gardens come in different sizes and designs, Townsend offers greenhouses to suit!  Townsend standardises its greenhouses to the following three traditional designs.

• The Sherborne, a traditional apex building with side hinged door.
• The Ansty, a lean-to greenhouse with sliding door.
• The Holnest, an octagonal greenhouse to stand proud within your garden.

Finally, as well as the traditional style, Townsend offers a combination building for those smaller gardens.  Constructed using the same quality timbers this combination building works as the greenhouse while providing secure storage.

• the Grow-Store, a greenhouse/shed combination with a solid partition to include access door.

Townsend provides dry glazed units using horticultural glass, brass handles and stainless steel hinges to doors to all the greenhouse designs.  The building will sit upon a pressure treated plinth leaving access to the ground within.

OPTIONAL EXTRAS

Optional extras available in addition to the basic specification are :

• Guttering,
• Extra Vents & Openers,
• Doors,
• Staging,
• Cedar construction.

Townsend is happy to provide quotations showing the basic specification traditional designs with optional extras.

The price includes delivery within 20 miles to a suitable base.  Assembly is priced on application.  Additional ground works will be charged.

CONSERVATORIES

Conservatories are bespoke to their location and your requirements, but Townsend’s images show you what customers have chosen.  Townsend offers a conservatory designed especially for your home in either Oak or Douglas Fir softwood.  Surveyors work with the customer to design the conservatory to suit the property hence Townsend’s portfolio is varied.
