Summerhouses are beautiful additions to your garden.  Townsend styles come with glazed doors and large glazed windows for good visibility while allowing sunshine to radiate through.  Multi-paned Georgian glazing is an optional extra, also lining and insulation therefore making buildings suitable for all year round use.

TOWNSEND’S RANGE OF SUMMERHOUSES

Townsend Timber manufactures three summerhouse designs;

• the traditional Glanvilles Summerhouse,
• the Cosmore Corner, and
• the Thornford Studio.

Most noteworthy of the Range is the Thornford which was launched in 2017.  Townsend developed the Thornford to meet the needs for a modern design in addition to a spacious home office/summerhouse.  The Thornford’s standard specification is fully lined and insulated to walls, floor and ceiling.  Consequently, this creates a comfortable all year round working environment.  Townsend supply the tongue & groove effect, MDF lining boards pre-primed therefore they are ready to receive your chosen finish.  The doors and windows have a factory coated finish.

Each summerhouse is hand-made by Townsend’s dedicated production carpentry team with great attention to detail and proven sectional building construction techniques.  Townsend creates the summerhouses using quality materials and long lasting pressure treated timbers throughout.  Your summerhouse will be erected by Townsend Timber.  Every member of the team is wholly customer focused and enjoys a passion for the beauty of wood for outdoor living.  Townsend Timber offers groundwork preparation for your summerhouse or chalet if required.

  The Woodsman

The Titan’s modern style gives a versatile and adaptable garden building.  Adding insulation and lining to this building creates an environment befitting a modern office.  Opposite in looks, the Woodsman stands out from the crowd featuring a “mock oak frame” frontage.  Most of all, the weatherboard cladding and cedar shingle roof add that something extra.
