A range of gates to suit your requirements is offered by Townsend Timber and pride is taken in offering Bespoke Garden Gates along with the “ready -made” Garden Gates.
Three main styles are available in either Iroko Hardwood or Redwood Softwood:
5-bar Gates are fine quality planed, bevelled and hand finished gates available in standard or bespoke sizes with a range of bracing styles, Estate, York, Minster, Manor, Dorset and Somerset. The Somerset Field Gate also comes as a non planed economy version in whitewood.
House Garden Gates are styled to suit their environment so the Henley 105, Ansty 105 and Hilton 105 with their semi tongue & groove 3’6″ (1.05 m) high construction would fit nicely in a town setting whilst the Regis 90 (3′ / 0.9 m) and Trent 105 (3’6″ / 1.05m) Picket Gates are the atypical country garden gate. Okeford 180 and Frome 180 have often been chosen to provide a secure division between the front and rear home gardens as they stand 6′ (1.8 m) high. These are available in a variety of widths so your drive gates could match your garden gate too!
Courtyard Gates are Townsend Timber’s flagship of gates. Framed, ledged and braced these gates are a heavy duty, tongue & groove, security and privacy conscious gate. Standing up to 1.8 m (6′) high these gates will define your boundary with style. Three top profiles are offered to suit your taste and each comes either as oiled Iroko Hardwood or, stained or painted Softwood to be operated manually or by automation.
"I have to say how pleased we are with the result; the gates have really enhanced the appearance of the property and already have been admired and commented upon by neighbours, in addition to passing holiday makers, even caravan-towing vehicles have stopped to pass favourable comment! Throughout the operation, from ordering to completion of the project, it has been a most pleasureable experience for our family, including meeting those members of the Townsend staff with whom we have been in contact. We shall have no hesitation in recommending Townsend Timber for all such work."
