Townsend Timber takes pride in offering a range of gates to suit your requirements from Bespoke Garden and Driveway Gates to “ready -made” Garden Gates.

Three main styles are available in either Iroko Hardwood or Redwood Softwood:

5-bar Field and 5-bar Drive Gates

• Fine quality planed, bevelled and hand finished gates available in standard or bespoke sizes with a range of bracing styles, Estate, York, Minster, Manor, Dorset and Somerset.  The Somerset Field Gate also comes as a semi-planed economy version in pressure treated softwood whitewood only.

House Garden Gates

• Styled to suit their environment, the Henley 105, Ansty 105 and Hilton 105 with their semi tongue & groove 3’6″ (1.05 m) high construction fit nicely in a town setting whilst the Regis 90 (3′ / 0.9 m) and Trent 105 (3’6″ / 1.05m) Picket Gates are the atypical country garden gate.  Okeford 180 and Frome 180 provide a secure division between the front and rear home gardens as they stand 6′ (1.8 m) high.

Courtyard Gates

• As Townsend Timber’s flagship – these gates are framed, ledged and braced heavy duty construction , tongue & groove, security and privacy conscious available as singles or pairs or even triples for wider driveway openings.  Standing up to 1.8 m (6′) high these gates will define your boundary with style.  Three top profiles to suit your taste and each comes either as oiled Iroko Hardwood or, stained or painted Softwood.  Townsend offers the gate range to be operated manually or by automation.

Automation will be suited to your requirements and as the name suggests gates operate using an electricity supply.  There are various methods to instigate access so depending upon your requirements, the gates can be worked via intercom, keypad entry, key fob or pressure pad.  Call Townsend to talk to our specialist!
