Here is the recently completed timber framed church office for Hazelbury Bryan Parochial Church Council. This building has been constructed by us in timber stick-frame with home grown Larch cladding and natural slate roof. It is neatly located in the church car park and provides new facilities for churchgoers and a meeting room for villagers and local groups. It has a main meeting room with kitchen area, toilet, reception area and has full disability parking and access. We are very pleased to have been the main contractor for this project, and have fabricated all timber engineering elements in house in our manufacturing & timber yard in Pulham. Always great to work for a neighbouring village and not far to travel!
We have started site preparation for Construction work on The Lookout project, a building commissioned by Dorset Wildlife Trust (In partnership with the National Trust) which will become the first destination for visitors to Brownsea Island. We are very pleased and proud to have secured this project as the main contractor, being a prestigious project for the great team at Dorset Wildlife Trust and our home county of Dorset. It is a showcase design which will highlight our specialist skills for carpenter build & timber engineering. Regular updates will be posted here and on our social media. Here is the news item for Dorset Wildlife Trust:

2nd CEDAR GREENHOUSE FOR NORTH DORSET CLIENT
Cedar greenhouse erected in north Dorset January 2021 – Sherborne Greenhouse range. This was the client’s second cedar greenhouse from us, having moved from a nearby village and left her old greenhouse behind. As a discerning gardener the client already new the unbeatable quality of our hand built greenhouses, so we were the obvious choice for her new garden.
We offered our made to measure service to make the new cedar greenhouse an exact fit to the existing concrete base.
Another superb Townsend Timber garden building installed in Dorset.
Call us for information on our greenhouse ranges in Western Red Cedar and pressure treated (tanalised) softwood.
Following our 2017 installation of this unique oak frame for Simon Gudgeon Sculpture at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, we have been involved with final re-assembly at the Sculpture Park near Dorchester, as part of the outside dining area for the visitors. We are very happy to give this frame a 2nd life in this beautiful location.
The frame looked superb at the show in 2017. Soon after our carpenter team had completed the oak frame raise Simon and Monica and there landscaping team stepped in for the final dressing.
Now with a few minor design tweaks the same frame will provide a wonderful back drop in the sculpture park dining area for many years to come.
